Rempah Nusantara is an Indonesian company that sells a wide variety of Indonesia’s native cooking ready-to-eat spices. In Indonesia, ‘Rempah’ means ’spices’ and ‘Nusantara' means ‘islands’. As a brand, Rempah Nusantara embraces the authenticity of Indonesia through traditional food into instant spices to convey the message that everyone can cook.
The idea is inspired by the traditional house of Java called Joglo. Joglo is a type of traditional house of the Javanese and the word ‘joglo’ refers to the shape of the roof. To maintain the authenticity, I interpret the roof to my packaging design.
